Most guests drive. Lonavala is on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway, usually about 2 to 2.5 hours from Mumbai and about 1.5 hours from Pune, longer on a monsoon Friday. Lonavala railway station is on the main Mumbai-Pune line, and local trains also run from Pune. The nearest airport is Pune, about 64 km away. Mumbai airport is a little over 100 km.
