Getting here
Visakhapatnam's new international airport at Bhogapuram, about 45 km north of the city, took over all commercial flights in August 2026, so guests now need a longer transfer than before. Visakhapatnam Junction is a major station with trains from Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and beyond. Hyderabad is a long day's drive, so most guests come by rail or air. Araku is about 110 km inland, three to four hours by road or about four hours by train.
