Getting here
Udaipur's Maharana Pratap Airport is the nearest airport, and Kumbhalgarh is about 84 km from Udaipur, roughly two to two and a half hours by road through hill country. Most guests come by car or with a hired driver, often combining the fort with Ranakpur, about 50 km away. Falna is a useful railway station on the Ahmedabad to Delhi line. Guests driving from Ahmedabad usually take most of a day. Clear directions from both Udaipur and Ranakpur help a lot.
